Planning a Yishun pool visit
Yishun Swimming Complex is at 351 Yishun Avenue 3, Singapore 769057. Visitors using public transport should plan the final bus or walking connection from Yishun MRT because the swimming complex is separate from the main sport hall and stadium. Drivers should navigate with the complete postal address and confirm parking restrictions near the sport centre before arrival. ActiveSG lists one competition pool, one teaching pool and one wading pool; confirm the required pool before travelling. The competition pool normally opens early from 6:30am to 8:00am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, while Wednesday is the regular maintenance closure. Check the ActiveSG facility page for same-day changes. Woodlands, Senja-Cashew and Bukit Canberra are useful North-region comparisons when another pool or a different transport route may suit the visit better.
Pool facilities and accessibility
Confirmed visitor features include competition pool, teaching pool and wading pool. Ask the Guest Officer when assistance or accessible equipment is required.
Admission fees and ActiveSG entry
This is classified as a Normal Pool. The appropriate ActiveSG swim pass and rate therefore apply. Prices differ by pool category, residency and age; consult the official ActiveSG individual rates before purchase.
Check availability before visiting
Crowd levels, lane availability and access to individual pools can change with programmes, school holidays, maintenance, events and weather. This guide does not predict a quiet period. Check the linked ActiveSG facility page and current closure notices shortly before travelling.
Check the official facility information
Before travelling, confirm current opening arrangements, closures and entry information on the official ActiveSG or Sport Singapore facility source. Lesson and coach availability is separate from public-pool opening information.
Swimming courses at Yishun Swimming Complex
Course availability at Yishun Swimming Complex depends on the learner, course format, coach schedule and permitted pool use. Confirmation is required before registration.
Choose a course by goal
Someone starting from zero needs a different sequence from a swimmer correcting one stroke. Parents may prioritise water safety and SwimSafer preparation, while adults may focus on confidence, breathing or fitness. Choose the course after an honest assessment of present ability.
The swimming course comparison explains the available pathways. Review course fees and remember that facility admission may be charged separately.
Planning a course block
- Confirm the learner’s starting level and measurable goal.
- Choose private, pair or group learning based on support needs and budget.
- Select days the learner can attend consistently.
- Allow for weather, maintenance closures and public-pool rules.
- Ask how progress will be reviewed before booking another block.
Ask Swim2u about course availability, including this venue and any nearby alternatives you can reach.
