Ladies’ Swimming Course in Singapore with Female Instructors
Swim2u markets this programme as swimming lessons for women taught by female instructors. Confirm the assigned female instructor for your requested venue and time before booking.

Why women choose a female instructor
- Feeling more relaxed learning in swimwear with another woman.
- Religious or cultural preferences about physical guidance in the water.
- Being able to ask openly about periods or body confidence.
- A previous bad experience with a coach or with water.
None of these need explaining when you enquire. Just ask for a female instructor.
What the course covers
Swim2u markets the ladies programme to complete beginners and learners seeking stroke improvement, but does not publish one skill order, pace or deep-water progression for everyone. Ask how the starting point, activities, requested female instructor, venue and pace will be assessed and confirmed. See the adult swimming course for broader planning questions.
Format and fees
Ladies lessons at Swim2u are 45 minutes, for learners above 12, in packages of 4:
- 1-to-1: $360 for 4 lessons.
- Group of 2: $220 per person.
- Group of 3 or more: $180 per person.
A pair has a lower published per-person price than 1-to-1, but joint placement depends on both learners, the requested female instructor, venue and schedule. See all rates on the fees page.
Practical questions to confirm
What should I wear?
Check the specific pool and programme rules before buying or wearing swimwear. Ask whether the proposed full-coverage swimwear, leggings, swim hijab or other garment is permitted and suitable for the learner; material, fit and movement need individual confirmation.
Can I swim during my period?
A menstrual period does not determine one suitable product or whether an individual should participate. Follow the chosen product’s instructions and relevant health advice; if you skip a lesson, check the applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms rather than assuming a replacement is included.
Can I learn while pregnant?
Check with your doctor or midwife before starting lessons, especially if you are new to swimming, and tell your instructor before the first lesson. The same applies if you are recovering from surgery or have a heart, lung or other medical condition.
Is the pool women-only?
No. Swim2u markets the course with female instructors, but the assigned instructor, venue and time must be confirmed. Lessons may take place at condo pools and public pools that other people use at the same time, and lifeguards or pool staff may be male. If privacy matters, ask for a 1-to-1 lesson at a quieter time, such as a weekday morning, or at your own condo pool.
If you are afraid of water
A webpage cannot diagnose fear or prescribe one way to address it. Tell the provider what the learner is comfortable sharing and ask what coach, pace, consent process and activities can be confirmed. Read the water confidence course planning guide; female-instructor availability must be confirmed.
