How this site and Swim2u Swim School handle personal data when you browse swimmingcourse.sg or send us an enquiry.

This policy explains what personal data is handled when you use swimmingcourse.sg (“this site”), operated by Swim2u Swim School (“Swim2u”, “we”). We aim to handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What this site does and does not collect
This is a static information site. It has no user accounts, no log-in and no online payments, and it does not store form submissions on a server.
Enquiry form, course finder and WhatsApp
The enquiry form and course finder on this site do not send your answers to us directly. When you submit them, they open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message built from what you entered. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp yourself, and you can edit or delete the message first.
If you send the message, it reaches Swim2u through WhatsApp. WhatsApp’s handling of that message is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy, not by this policy. The same applies if you tap a WhatsApp button or link anywhere on this site.
If you email us at info@swim2u.sg, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
How we use your information
We use the details you send us, such as your name, contact number, the learner’s age, preferred area and schedule, to reply to your enquiry, suggest a suitable swimming course and arrange lessons if you go ahead. We do not sell your personal data.
Please only share what we need to answer your enquiry. If you are enquiring about a child or another person, please make sure you are entitled to share their details with us.
Analytics and cookies
If analytics is enabled on this site, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type and pages viewed. This information is processed by Google under its own privacy terms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Hosting and server logs
Like most websites, the company that hosts this site automatically keeps server logs, which can include your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are kept by the host for security and to keep the site running.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including swim2u.sg and other Swim2u sites, WhatsApp and ActiveSG. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Access, correction and withdrawal of consent
You can ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to our use of it, by emailing info@swim2u.sg. We will respond as required under the PDPA.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
